We are looking to recruit a Accounts Preparation Assistant to join our Financial Reporting Advisory Team.

Location is flexible for this role.

The Accounts Preparation Assistant will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Preparing statutory financial statements for corporate clients under supervision of a senior colleague, using both Microsoft Word and CCH Accounts Production software, in accordance with both UK GAAP and IFRS;
  • Working with other internal departments on the delivery of statutory financial statements;
  • Actively monitoring and managing your work ensuring that deadlines are met, work is completed to a good standard and communication is effective both within the team and with our clients;
  • Liaising with client staff and building effective relationships with our clients;
  • Taking an active role in your own development by seeking regular feedback and identifying and acting upon personal development needs.
  • You will also have the opportunity to get involved in technical accounting advisory projects.

About You:

  • A leader of your work and your professional learning
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
  • Relevant experience in this or a similar role is preferred
  • You will have some experience of preparing accounts for corporate clients;
  • You will be a partqualified CA or have a suitable equivalent qualification or experience. You will also have an enquiring mind, good project management and interpersonal skills and a commitment to high levels of client service.
  • You will be particularly interested in Financial Reporting and will be following developments within Financial Reporting.
  • You will be motivated to develop your own technical knowledge and to support our clients with the challenges that they face.
