Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

£24,000 per annum

Homebased with attendance East Anglia University (Norwich) for face to face training sessions (1 or 2 days per week)

Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week)
**Course starts on 13th March - 1 full week block training at the start of the service*- Interviews will take place virtually on 20th January 2023**
Unlock your potential:As our Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner will work within Xyla Digital Therapies to deliver low intensity CBT talking therapies interventions to patients with mild-moderate common mental health issues whilst undertaking a BPS accredited trainingcourse with our partner East Anglia University.

Every day you will

  • Provide low intensity therapeutic support for patients. Maintaining excellent records of all clinical activity in line with service processes. Working closely with our clinical team ensuring appropriate stepup and stepdown arrangements are in place tomaintain this approach.
  • Attend all University teaching and supervision sessions to gain your qualification whilst completing all academic work to required standard and fulfil all requirements of the training elements of the role within specified timeframes
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for systematic governance of the clinical service and team, and to lead on policy reviews and implement policy changes within the clinical team and network.
  • Represent Xyla Digital Therapies excellently at all times when liaising with partner services, patients and the Clinical Network.

  • Demonstrable experience of working with those presenting with common mental health problems
  • An understanding of Primary Care IAPT/Stepped care services
  • Strong digital competence and interest and competent in working towards and above core performance targets
  • The ability to attend inperson at University East Anglia teaching days and supervision sessions whilst to complete all academic requirements of the course within specified time frames
