Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off - perm nights.
This is a tremendous opportunity to join the security team at Belfast Harbour. You will join a professional and dedicated team where you will receive ongoing training, support, and development. This role consists of regular body searches and climbing in and out of large vehicles. A female officer is required due to the searching requirements.

Applicants must hold an SIA license.

Essential criteria:

  • SIA license holder
  • Happy working a mix of early and late shifts.
  • Be polite, friendly and professional
  • A team player that enjoys working in a committed team environment
  • Female due to the searching requirements.

Duties to include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the site in a polite and customer focused manner
  • Manage access control to the site
  • Internal and external patrols of the site
  • Regular body searches
  • Gatehouse duties
  • Carry out vehicle searches
  • Front of house duties
  • Issuing passes to visitors, contractors and staff members
  • Produce accurate and comprehensive incident reports
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
  • Work in conjunction with site Assignment Instructions
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Work as part of a customer focused team
