Technical Claims Handler

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join my Insurance client's team in this full-time office based role, located close to Redhill Town Centre (15 minute walk). This position plays a pivotal role in operations, providing essential support to claimants and acting as a key liaison throughout the vehicle repair process.

Main Duties:

  • Assisting claimants from the incident's occurrence to the completion of repair work.
  • Serving as a liaison among all parties involved in the repair process.
  • In-house authorization of repair estimates.
  • Coordination of vehicle recovery and allocation to repairers.
  • Regular updates to drivers and clients on repair progress.
  • Management of policy excesses and processing of related documentation.
  • Authorization of estimates within set limits and collaboration with engineers for estimates beyond those limits.
  • Proactive engagement with engineers and repairers to expedite processes.
  • Maintenance of up-to-date claim statuses.
  • Communication with contractors and business partners via phone and email.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.

Starting salary £22000
