The Finance team is a centralised function across Quilter plc and provides finance support across our High Net Worth and Affluent client focused segments.

This role is part of the business partnering function within Finance supporting the Affluent business segment.

The Affluent business has £83bn of client assets under administration/ management and comprises Quilter's Financial Advice, Investment Platform, and Investment Management Businesses, principally through Quilter Financial Planning, Quilter Investment Platform, and Quilter Investors, respectively.

As the Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the business unit CFO along with key stakeholders, providing high quality analysis, insight, and decision support with the aim of achieving the Group's and the Business Unit's objectives and strategy.

Key activities within the Business Partnering Team include:
Reporting and provision of information and analysis delivered to senior stakeholders to challenge and drive decision-making.
Providing analysis in support of the commercial proposition of the business, and leading on financial business cases.
Delivery of the annual business plan and ongoing forecasting of financial results.

You will be a trusted business advisor and partner, ensuring business knowledge is current and having an awareness of issues and challenges, new initiatives etc.

You will be responsible for the analysis and interpretation of Financial Performance of the Business Unit.

The Finance BP plays a key role in the annual business planning and forecasting cycles, working closely with functional stakeholders to ensure submissions are robust, timely and in line with Group expectations.

You will perform analytical review on Business Unit results, providing qualitative commentary, understanding variances between actual, forecast and budget performance, you'll Identify value opportunities that require a particular intervention / project support from the Business Partner team and undertake major performance interventions if needed and review impacts of performance interventions.

To be successful in this role, prior Business Partnering experience is a pre-requisite, ideally within financial services and one of the key Affluent business segments.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, you will need to use Excel at an intermediate level as a minimum and be accomplished in presentation skills.

Experience in the identification or risks and opportunities in the P&L as well as experience in driving P&L performance improvements will also be a requirement.

You will be comfortable working at pace with agility and have an analytical mindset, someone who will use data and metrics to drive action.

You will be delivery focused, have strong commercial acumen and exhibit credibility, professionalism, and integrity as well as a great negotiator, influencer, and leader.
