We are seeking a visionary Director of Data Science to lead our team In this senior leadership role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions, utilizing the latest innovations in Generative AI and Microsoft technologies.

As the Director of Data Science, you will drive the integration of cutting-edge AI capabilities into practical applications, spearheading innovation within our organization.

You will oversee and collaborate with a dynamic, talented team, guiding the development of intelligent systems, sophisticated machine learning models, and impactful AI-driven applications that deliver significant real-world value.


JOB Requirements:
Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data science, with 2 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of implementing AI and machine learning solutions in a business context. Strong understanding of data governance principles and risk management practices. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and big data technologies. Experience with cloud platforms and data engineering is a plus.

JOB Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the data science strategy aligned with organizational goals. Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers. Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data science, AI, and machine learning to drive continuous innovation. Oversee the development and deployment of AI and machine learning models to solve complex business problems. Ensure the scalability and robustness of AI solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into products and services. Identify and mitigate risks associated with data science projects and AI implementations. Develop and implement risk management frameworks and practices to ensure data integrity, privacy, and security. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to address regulatory and compliance requirements. Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure high data quality and compliance with regulations. Promote data stewardship and ensure responsible data usage across the organization. Oversee the management of data assets, including data lineage, metadata, and data cataloging.

Act as a liaison between the data science team and key stakeholders, including executive leadership, business units, and external partners.

Communicate complex data science concepts and insights in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders. Gather and prioritize stakeholder requirements to align data science initiatives with business needs. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data science projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Implement best practices for project management and agile methodologies.
