Water Recycling Operator

Do you like working outdoors? Are you looking for a role that offers development opportunities? If so, we are looking for a Water Recycling Operator to join our Northern Water Recycling team.

What will I be doing?

The role of Water Recycling Operator involves operating and maintaining conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards.

You will also be involved in running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants.

***You will play a big part in the team by ensuring compliance with company policy, processes and procedures. You must also ensure the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times.

Additionally, you will need to be flexible by working hours that include weekends, as you will be required to provide emergency cover on the standby rota, with a view to participate in a shift pattern when applicable (an average of 40 hours per week).

What are the requirements?

You will need GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and maths, and ideally some experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant.

It is essential that you have a self-motivated work ethic, hard-working nature and good communication skills.

You must be happy working outdoors in all conditions. Also, a valid driving licence is essential for this role. Full training will be provided including Confined Spaces training, as will other qualifications applicable to the role.
