About the role
Motorway is growing rapidly and we are now seeking a Strategy Associate to strengthen our Corporate Strategy team.

Your role will involve working collaboratively across Product, Commercial and Operations to identify and assess new products, services, markets and strategic opportunities.

This will require a blend of qualitative market research, financial and data analysis, and the ability to present findings in a clear, concise and actionable way.


This is an amazing opportunity to play a pivotal role in strategic planning in a rapid-growth, well-funded and disruptive technology startup.


The role will involve:

  • Support the Leadership team in the identification and assessment of strategic opportunities
  • Conduct industry research and data analysis to aid the production of business cases. Understand business ROI and support senior leadership with decisionmaking and prioritisation of projects.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders on the delivery of strategic initiatives
  • Carry out analysis on weekly, monthly and quarterly business performance
  • Produce regular reports on the state of the used automotive industry and the competitive landscape

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in a commercial role; you may be working in consultancy, banking or at another start up;
  • Excellent commercial acumen;
  • Strong data analysis and excel skills, and comfortable drawing insights from abstract data;
  • Experience conducting qualitative research and analysis;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable presenting findings to senior stakeholders;
  • Ability and willingness to work independently when required;
  • Someone who is proactive by nature and able to set their own goals and achieve them
