The Role - GE3 Burials Op
- As part of a team, you will perform burials and maintenance tasks throughout the Perth area. Work as a member of a burials team. Your duties will directly involve all aspects of burial duties.
- You must be able to demonstrate the ability to competently operate and maintain vehicles, plant and machinery associated within the burials.
- You must be a team player who understands the importance of good morale and proactively pursues good professional relationships with colleagues, clients, Funeral Directors, and members of the public.
- To receive burial instructions and to efficiently organise and complete burial work instructions, ensuring that all burial functions are carried out to a high quality, to IBCA standards and on time.
- To undertake scatterings and interments of ashes on a routine basis.
- To undertake lair excavation, backfilling, funeral attendance, and any other routine squad task.
- To ensure that all works are performed in compliance with appropriate risk assessments and health and safety requirements
- You must be able to carry out the physical demands of the post.
- You must be able to do any paperwork associated with the post e.g., timesheets, work schedules, maintenance records etc. Knowledge of computers/smartphones would also be beneficial.
