Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care to residents in line with their individual care plans.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
  • Supporting individuals with mobility and carrying out tasks such as heavy lifting.
  • Delivering patient care with empathy and understanding, particularly for those requiring dementia care
  • Administering medications as needed and responding to emergencies promptly
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for residents

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in domiciliary care, hospice care, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities is required.
  • Training certificates are advantageous, but not required (If you do not hold the relevant certificates we will pay for your eLearning training).
  • A compassionate and caring nature with a genuine interest in helping others
  • Ability to drive to different locations for home visits or appointments
  • Proficiency in providing patient care and understanding the needs of vulnerable individuals
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
