We are looking for an experienced Field Service Coordinator with an automotive or transport related background for our new YUTONG site based in Castleford, West Yorkshire.


The Role:

  • Working on the service desk, you will be responsible for taking bookings from fleet customers. Ensuring that jobs are logged and actioned accordingly.
  • Plan and arrange field work, utilising service dealers and field service engineers
  • Plan and distribute a daily work plan for engineers based in the field.
  • Liaise with engineers and service dealers regarding jobs and arrange any parts as required.
  • Coordinating and supervising field service technicians who are responsible for providing onsite support, maintenance, and repair services to customers.
  • Schedule work orders to technicians based on their skills, availability, and geographic location
  • Manage the processing of job cards ,time sheets, spread sheets etc. Ensuring they are being filled out correctly and in a timely manner to allow processing by the admin team
  • Play a crucial role in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers by addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of services.
  • Attend regular service meetings with fleet customers and relevant internal management to understand their needs and assist in providing appropriate solutions.
  • Monitor customer feedback and take necessary actions to improve service quality.
  • Report any technical issues to your line manager.

Skills required:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Technical background preferably in Bus & Coach (desirable)
  • Good telephone manner and problem solving skills
  • Customer relationship management
  • Admin skill Microsoft office including excel
