OBD Calibration EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OBD Calibration Engineer to join our automotive engineering team.

As an OBD Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and calibrating On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) systems for our vehicles.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, test engineers, and vehicle integration teams to ensure that our vehicles meet regulatory requirements and deliver exceptional performance.

This opportunity will be suited for someone who wants to work in a consultancy environment. There will be a mix of technical and customer facing elements.

It will be a genuine opportunity for someone to progress within a small business and to help grow on a personal level.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and calibrate OBD strategies for engine management systems
  • Analyze and interpret data from vehicle testing and diagnostic tools to identify issues and potential solutions
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement changes and improvements to the OBD system
  • Conduct emissions testing and validation of OBD systems
  • Stay uptodate with industry regulations and standards related to OBD calibration
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, service, and field engineering teamsQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive calibration or related field
  • Strong knowledge of engine management systems and on
  • board diagnostics (OBD)
  • Experience with calibration tools such as ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, or similar software
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools such as CANape or CANalyzer
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
  • Knowledge of emissions regulations (EPA, CARB) and certification processes is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem
