A fantastic opportunity has opened up within a well-established Facilities Management company, known for its solid client portfolio, which includes a major contract with Asda.
Our client is looking to fill the role of Depot Maintenance Electrician, responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance services at an Asda Distribution Centre in Washington.
The ideal candidate must have experience working with electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as performing general building fabric maintenance tasks.
This role will suit individuals with technical expertise from various sectors such as Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, Food Production Plants, or similar environments.
Candidates with a background in electrical installation might not find this heavy industrial plant setting suitable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide planned and reactive maintenance for electrical and mechanical plant
- Perform general building fabric maintenance
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- React effectively to priority changes
Requirements:
- Hold a City & Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 or City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3, or NVQ Level 3
- Possess either 17th or 18th edition qualification
- Full and valid driving license
- Completed an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship

About the Company: The company offers a competitive salary of £32,603, with an opportunity to earn up to £35,060 including on-call allowances. Employees benefit from a pension plan, private medical coverage, and 33 days of annual leave, including bank holidays. A pool vehicle is provided for on-call duties, and an ASDA Discount Card is available after a 12-week probation period.
