Our client is a leading player in the Fresh Produce Industry and are looking to add a Junior Maintenance Engineer to their site team based in Spalding.

As a Junior Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their machinery and equipment

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment issues.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting and repairing machinery breakdowns.
  • Participating in preventive maintenance activities.
  • Collaborating with senior engineers to implement maintenance best practices.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Complying with safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of the site and facilities.
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of maintenance engineering.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
