This unique program combines academic study with hands-on engineering applications, allowing you to achieve a BEng (Hons) in Electro-Mechanical Engineering without the burden of student debt, thanks to our partnership with the University of Nottingham.
Job Title: Engineering Apprentice

Responsibilities:
- Participate in on-the-job and off-the-job training as per the apprenticeship standard.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to tackle real-world challenges using learned theories and practices.
- Engage in projects to apply academic learning practically.
- Contribute to engineering project design, testing, and analysis under experienced supervision.
- Attend sessions at Nottingham University as part of the academic aspect of the apprenticeship.
- Document and report project progress and outcomes for continuous assessment.
Educational Structure:
- Year 1-2: Build a foundation in engineering principles, programming skills, and electrical and electronic devices.
- Year 3-4: Specialize in advanced topics like thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and engineering management.
- Year 5: Undertake a significant BEng project showcasing your skills in a real-world context.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in English Language and GCSE Maths at grade 5 or above.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated interest and aptitude in engineering.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications:
- A Levels in Maths and two other subjects, ideally with grades B or above.
Advantageous but not essential:
- Prior exposure to engineering environments through internships, work experience, or projects.
