Hours: 24 hours per week

Rota: 3 days (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Word processing material of a wide and varied nature, e.g. typing reports.
  • Setting up tracking systems to ensure that information recording and support systems operate accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensuring that information recording systems, including manual and electronic files and Excel spreadsheets are accurately maintained and updated.
  • Recording and processing expenses and petty cash documentation.
  • Photocopying, collating and distributing material as required; assisting staff when necessary in the efficient use of the photocopier.
  • Collating information for reporting purposes and supporting to produce and distribute service newsletter
  • Processing invoices according to agreed procedures for authorization and payment and checking on purchase order documentation.
  • Ordering stationery, ensuring satisfactory stock levels are maintained.
  • Carrying out telephone duties, taking calls and delivering messages accurately as and when required.
  • Undertake any other duties which may arise provided they are within the postholders capabilities

Experience:

Essential:

  • Skilled and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Well developed word processing/typing skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a residential care environment.
  • Auditing skills
