Builder

directly supervises and coordinates the activities of construction and building workers and/or subcontractors; establishes and monitors work schedules to meet productivity requirements; liaises with managers and contractors to resolve operational problems; determines or recommends staffing and other needs to meet productivity requirements; reports as required to managerial staff on work-related matters.

• Utilise hand tools and power tools proficiently to construct and repair structures
• Fabricate and install frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
• Perform painting tasks to finish surfaces
• Engage in heavy lifting when necessary
• Conduct joinery work for fittings and fixtures
• Plumb and assemble piping systems
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently

• Proven experience as a Builder or similar role within the construction industry
• Proficiency in carpentry, including framing and finishing work
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Excellent physical condition to handle heavy lifting and manual labour
• Solid understanding of health and safety standards in construction sites
