Women's Wellbeing Support Worker

IDAS (Independent Domestic Abuse Services) is the leading specialist domestic abuse charity in the Yorkshire region. Our Women's Wellbeing Support Worker will provide therapeutic groups and programmes for women living in refuge, dispersed accommodation and in the community to help them overcome the trauma they have experienced as a result of domestic abuse.
They will work collaboratively with refuge and community teams to help identify clients who would benefit from attending a support group.
They will receive and manage referrals, prioritising those who have mental ill health and liaise with colleagues about referral outcomes and undertake individual assessments in order to identify clients' emotional and mental health needs and assess their suitability for groupwork, continuing to work closely with clients' key workers to ensure they are supported to access, and benefit from, attending a group.

In return we provide comprehensive training, development opportunities, a competitive salary, 26 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays (Full-time), contributory pension scheme, employer-paid health cash plan and access to other national discount schemes.
Starting Salary:
£26,421.00 FTE or £13,210.50 pro rata per annum for 18.50 hours per week. Working days and hours negotiable.
