Design Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and crossfunctional teams to develop innovative design solutions that meet project requirements and objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the design process, staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D models using industrystandard software (e.g., CAD) to visualize concepts and facilitate the design review process.
  • Work closely with the prototype team to oversee the fabrication and assembly of prototypes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and presentations.

Design Engineer Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained or engineering degree qualified.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and design fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D modelling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Full Right to work in the UK

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday permanent days
