Hourly rate at minimum wage

Hours of work: 12:00pm - 2:30pm


We are seeking to appoint a reliable Lunchtime Supervisor with an ability to work with others in a team and who is keen to contribute to a hardworking department.


Duties Include:

  • To ensure the safety of the students at all times.
  • To patrol the Hard Play Area continuously to monitor student's behavior and, when necessary, remind the students of standards expected.
  • To intervene verbally to stop any fighting, bullying, bad language or other misbehavior in an attempt to prevent continuance.
  • To send student or other Supervisor to fetch a member of staff in the event that the fighting, etc. does not cease.
  • To report any incidents of concern to the Pastoral Team or the Deputy Head on duty at the end of the supervisory session.
  • To ensure that no student leaves the grounds for any purpose whatsoever
  • To monitor the Cloakroom and toilet areas when directed by the Pastoral Team, to ensure:
  • that students do not misuse or damage the toilets
- that the students go straight to the Hard Play area and do not loiter in the cloakrooms

  • To help monitor the students inside, in the event of Wet Weather Programme, as directed by the Assistant Pastoral Manager.
  • To carry out any other reasonable tasks, from time to time, as directed by the Pastoral Team or the Head.
  • To work in accordance with the Academy's safeguarding policy
The post is Monday to Friday, term time only.

Full training will be given, and a Food Hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential.
