Due to continued expansion within the Poole Depot and increasing customer base, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Parts Assistant/Driver at our Poole location, to join the Sparks Team.

Duties to include.

  • Establishing customer's needs for required parts through conversations, diagnosis and recommendations as appropriate for parts counter sales
  • Dealing with busy workshops for locating and orders for Renault and all makes parts
  • Being fully conversant with procedures within the parts department
  • At start of day, ensure all overnight urgent and Stock orders are check in and put away
  • Validate and process supplier invoices to ensure charged correctly, prior to being pasted to accounts
  • Logging and sorting returns to include any defective / surcharge parts, to all Suppliers
  • Ensure current warranty procedures and processes are followed at all time
  • Carry out monthly perpetual / annual stock checks and logging any stock take variances
  • Maintain VOR order parts logs and assist with any buy backs
  • Maintain high levels of counter image and excellent housekeeping within the parts department
  • Maintain quality, environmental and Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Receiving, recording and allocating parts and consumables from suppliers to job cards
  • Resolving invoice queries, chasing for credits for returned parts
  • Involvement in controlling waste disposal, purchasing of tools and equipment for the workshop including consumables
  • Parts collection and deliveries
  • Any other duties requested by line Manager
Company uniform will be provided. Prior experience would be an advantage. Full training given.

Salary Range:
Competitive pay depending on experience

Basic Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 6.00pm with 1⁄2 hour unpaid lunchbreak. These hours are flexible to suit the needs of the business. Every third Saturday 8.00am to 12noon
