Video Editor

You will be an excellent editor, specialising in social-first video content and always thinking digitally first. Using your creative flair, and excellent video editing skills, you will shape storytelling content for multiple social channels.

The role of the social video editor is to craft stories from rushes and supplied video content which may come from various sources, so an understanding of working with mixed codecs and frame sizes is required.

The expectation is for you to maximise content shot from any shoot, to support and drive integrated storytelling across our multiple social channels.

You will be able to interpret and/or draw out briefs to make sure that the final creative supplied engages with the audience for that platform and delivers the brand message.

You will be asked to feedback into future shoot briefs to make sure that video coming back is effective to shape it into stories for the different social channels you will be working on.

ABOUT THE JOB

Working closely with the Photography & Video Team to make sure you're across all new social-first content coming in to the team.

Feeding into upcoming briefs to ensure best-in-class social content is captured and always looking for more efficient ways of working.

Building relationships with the Brand and DR Social Teams to be able to keep across new deliverables and establish best technical delivery processes and creative executions.

Drawing out feedback on their work to make sure that the final execution is delivered on time and on brief.

Keeping up with the latest social trends and working with Social Media team to brief, pitch and create resonant, audience-appropriate content.

ABOUT YOU
Video Editor capable of shaping visual content for multiple social channels
Ability to craft films to be used in integrated storytelling across multiple social channels

Be responsible for editorial accuracy and compliance of social video content
Effectively archive content supplied to you, ensuring all media items are regularly maintained and accessible to the wider business
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrable experience with managing time and delivering projects to deadlines
