Painter and Decorator Apprentice

About the role:


Whilst working for us as part of your apprenticeship you will complete a Level 2 Apprenticeship studying part time at college.


You will need a minimum of GCSE grade D/3 or above in English and Maths and you will be required to undertake a basic skills test in literacy and numeracy at the College.


The post is suitable for a school leaver and applicants should have the desire to work in the Painting and Decorating Industry combined with an eagerness to progress and an enthusiasm to learn, as a career within JB Joinery & Building Ltd will be varied and challenging.


Requirements:

  • Must be local and able to commute to place of work in Draycott in the Clay.
  • Good health / no injuries or reasons that might impair your ability to do physical work.
  • Manual lifting.
  • Good communicator, presentable appearance and respectful of customers.
  • Clean and tidy approach to work.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
