We are currently recruiting for the following staff to join our branch in
Newry:

Full-Time Dispensary Assistant (40 hours per week)

Duties will include:

  • Accepting prescriptions for filing, gathering and processing labels using IT systems.
  • Handling telephone enquiries and giving advice while referring callers to the
pharmacist when necessary.

  • Stock maintenance including ordering and rotation.
  • Informing customers on all health and associated products including over the counter
medication, minor ailments and services offered by the Pharmacy.

  • Promoting new and current product ranges using appropriate selling techniques.
  • Till operation and money handling.
  • Other duties as directed by the Pharmacy Manager.

We want to hear from you if you are:

  • Hard working and enthusiastic in your approach to work.
  • Fully flexible Monday to Sunday and able to work a variable shift pattern to include
9am-6pm and late-nights; 1pm-10pm.

  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication and selling skills.
  • Interested in Retail, Pharmacy and Customer Service.
  • Interested in career development and progression and willing to undertake relevant
qualifications.
