FBM Estate Agency Vacancy - Lettings Administrator (part-time)

The Role


You will play an important role within the department, dealing with all financial matters relating to the control and payment of rental monies using Reapit CRM software.

Working 12 hours per week, over 2 or 3 days during 9-5 pm. Flexibility can be considered on days/times worked. Salary £7,680 per annum (£24,000 pro-rata £12.307 p/hour).

Main Job Duties

  • Manage all tasks relating to the accounting process for the Residential Lettings Dept
  • Wide range of administration duties relating to the day to day functions in support of the office and staff
  • Collect and record rental payments, manage accounts receivable and payables, and maintain the financial health of the property
  • Manage & process rental payments using CRM database, for landlords, tenants, contractors and applicants
  • Reconcile client bank & merchant accounts
  • Control & register tenant deposits
  • Comply with AML (antimoney laundering) regulations
  • Monitor & control of rent arrears
  • React to reports of maintenance issues from occupants during tenancies handle requests, liaise with contractors to ensure timely repairs, property upkeep & invoice control
  • Assist with month end reporting for the Department
  • Deal with utility companies ensuring smooth transition for tenants during moveins and moveouts
  • Should be highly organised and comfortable dealing with financial data
  • Have previous experience in an accounts or a bookkeeping role, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • High standard of communication, written and oral
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Strong IT skills excel, word, outlook, etc.
