Finance Manager


Based in Luton, Bedfordshire our specialist client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis, supported with a hybrid working setup.


This job would suit a QBE, Finalist, or ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with strong people skills to come in and manage a team of two, reporting directly and working closely with the CFO to deliver improvements in reporting, processes, and procedures.

Youwill have the enthusiasm and drive to want to challenge the standard processes in order to improve efficiency, a great opportunity to see how you can quickly impact a business.


The successful individual will have a minimum of 5 years' experience of working within a finance department, ideally within the manufacturing industry and will be confident to manage a small team.

This person will have a proven track record for system development/ ERP implementation and improvement and have good working knowledge of UK VAT is essential.


Job responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Preparation of weekly cashflow forecast.
  • Variance analysis reporting improvements and development.
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly UK Vat returns
  • Preparation and submission of P11D forms
  • Improve financial processes.
  • Support the implementation of a new ERP system.
