We have an opportunity for a Crew Coordinator to join our ship management client in their office in Renfrewshire. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to take on a key role within a busy environment.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT- Previous experience in a similar role within a shipping environment (essential) Experience with Microsoft and Windows packages (essential) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Good administration and data entry experience Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
JOB DESCRIPTION- Responsible for crew activities related to their specified group of ships Oversee/complete crew documentation -license, visas, courses, employment contractsMaintain rotation plans for achieving stability on board Arrange all relevant courses and training required to keep seafarers up to date with legal requirements Daily contact with all sub-offices regarding crew planning Maintain close contact with vessels regarding crew issues Regular contact with port agents in respect of crew changes Co-ordinate crew activity with Master and Superintendents Keep a record of crew retention rates Conduct ship visits as required Monitor and audit CBT training records
