Corporate Tax – Assistant Manager

Hunter Savage is currently representing a highly successful Global Accountancy Practice in Belfast . Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Tax - Assistant Manager to join their team.

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our tax department, supporting clients in managing their corporate tax obligations efficiently. You will collaborate closely with senior tax professionals and contribute to delivering high-quality tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

The Role:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of corporate tax strategies for clients.
  • Review and prepare corporate tax computations, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on tax planning and optimization opportunities.
  • Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation.
  • Assist in managing client relationships and responding to tax queries.
  • Support the tax team in identifying and mitigating tax risks.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance and training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated tax solutions.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new client opportunities.

The Person :

  • Qualified (CTA, ACA or equivalent)
  • Experience in corporate tax, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven project management and organizational abilities.
  • Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
