RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Supporting with customer arrivals, including carrying out ticket checks, searching individuals and completing ID checks.
  • Help manage the flow of customers at entry and exit points, particularly at the start and end of an event.
  • Report incidents promptly to supervisors and security team and write incident reports as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with event organiser rules and regulations, including nosmoking areas and noentry zones.
  • Consistently uphold the highest standards of customer service and safety.
  • Manage any conflict or disturbances diplomatically and use deescalation techniques to prevent situations from escalating.
  • Regularly patrol designated sections to identify and address any safety hazards or potential issues.

BEHAVIOURS

  • You are able to work independently or as a team, coordinating with other security staff and venue management.
  • You are able to remain calm and adapt when working in highpressure situations.
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and integrity, and you conduct yourself professionally at all times.
  • You are able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with other security staff, clients, and their customers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor License.
  • Previous experience as an SIA Door Supervisor.
  • Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety would be beneficial.
