JOB DESCRIPTION & SPECIFICATION

Job Title:
Evening Receptionist / Administrator
Contract Basis: 5:30pm - 9:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Permanent, part time, term time only. 12 hours a week.
Salary:
Salary is up to £5,786 depending on experience (this equates to an FTE salary of £20,444).
Key Duties:
- The ability to deal with customer queries and present a positive image of Aldridge Adult Learning
- The ability to work independently using own initiative
- The ability to prioritise tasks
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- The ability to achieve set goals and targets within agreed timeframes
- A range of administrative skills including basic Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent timekeeping
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with adult learners, volunteers and tutors alike
- A flexible can do approach
- A keen eye for detail with accuracy being paramount
Experience and Skills_
- Minimum of one year administration experience
- Experience of providing administration support in an educational setting (desirable)
- Excellent working knowledge including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small office team
- Good organisation skills, ability to multitask, prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines
Education_
- GCSE English and Maths Grade C
