You will also ensure all people change activity and requirements from across the business and within People Services are captured and monitored to ensure effective delivery to time and plan.

Role Profile


Ensuring a consistent way of managing change with People Services and supporting the People Assurance Manager enabling the People Leadership Team to successfully deliver its people change requirements.

Manage governance and control, business continuity, risk, and audit actions for People Services to identify and support in the management of significant risks in line with risk profile.


  • Support the People Assurance Manager in capturing the priorities and plan for the People Strategy, and work collaboratively to ensure effective delivery of the wider service.
  • Manage the day to day running of the overarching People Services Plan ensuring requirements from all areas of the business are captured. Update on progress of the People Services plan by providing timely insight and reports.
  • Monitor People Services performance; regularly review, analyse, and report on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) across People Services highlighting trends, issues, and risks to the People Assurance Manager. Suggest and implement improvements to service in line with customer need and support the People Assurance Manager in addressing underperformance through highlighting challenges.
  • Ensure all people risks are captured and recommend mitigating actions to ensure effective governance and control. Monitor and update business continuity plan for People Services and recommend and instigate effective testing.
  • Capture and monitor any audit actions within agreed timescales, providing regular progress updates to People Assurance Manager.
  • Support the management of the overall budget for People Services by monitoring spend and produce financial reporting as required.
  • Review and report on the People Services contract repository, ensuring service levels for all new and existing thirdparty contracts for the function, are delivered in line with contract and commercial requirements.
  • Review and report on all information security requirements, including data protection, to ensure they are met in accordance with the Group's policy, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Review and report on health and safety requirements are met in accordance with the Group's policy, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Person specification

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential

  • Experience of change / project management and planning experience at an organisation wide level.
  • Experience of developing quality frameworks to report against progress.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong and demonstrable analytical skills, including the ability to critically analyse complex information, work with large set of sensitive information and data.
  • Demonstrable experience of producing clear, wellstructured reports with recommendations for senior leadership teams.
  • Commercially aware with understanding of risk management and compliance.
  • Passionate about putting the customer first with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in writing reports.
  • Comprehensive up to date knowledge of HR (Human Resources) best practice.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities, a bility to work to own initiative without close supervision.
