The Opportunity:


Contribute to the management control team to enhance month-end performance by managing journal entries in financial ledgers and supporting in forecasting business line revenues.

Ensure precise, comprehensive reporting by generating reports and reconciling between Risk & Finance and Production Margins.

Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant


Provide accurate reporting of monthly performance of NBI (Revenue) and Cost of Risk for BNP Paribas PF UK, including journal entries in financial ledgers and trend analysis.

Support local and group reporting by creating reports and reconciliations between Risk and Finance.


Assist the Senior Management Accountant in projects to enhance the forecasting process, including revamping forecast models for flexible forecasting.


Support the Senior Management Accountant in developing 3-year plans, budgets, and forecasts for activity, capital, and risk, providing clear analysis for senior management presentation packs.


Assist in compiling management information packs and presentations for local and group reporting & board packs.

Support in implementing and overseeing data controls for month-end and forecasting outputs, managing data in SAS, Access, and Hyperion.

Collaborate with the Senior Management Accountant to explore opportunities for implementing self-service solutions and automated reporting.

Maintain policies and procedures, identify process weaknesses, and introduce enhancements.

Skills & Qualities:
Articulate, well-spoken & Punctual.

Experience in a Management Accountant or similar position (Required)

Background in Financial Planning & Analysis (Required)

Proficient in VBA & SQL

Excellent numerical, analytical, and presentation skills

ACCA or CIMA qualification (Preferred)

Experience in programming languages like SQL, SAS, or Python (Preferred)

Capable of making informed decisions based on available information

Diligent & Accurate

Effective communication skills

Highly analytical with experience in meeting tight deadlines

Ability to challenge existing procedures and provide recommendations

Skilled in working with other departments

Strong Data & Analytical skills

Willingness and ability to work extra hours when necessary

A self-motivated individual who can take initiative in the role
