Employer: Staffordshire County Council
Contract: Type Temporary until the pupil leaves the school
Working Pattern: Multiple posts – mixture of full and part-time positions/Term time only
Hours: Multiple posts – hours may vary
Salary: Grade 3 £23,114 pa pro rata
About the roles
Full and Part-Time Teaching Assistants Additional Needs
Victoria Community School is a successful, vibrant, multicultural school which serves a majority minority ethnic community unique within Staffordshire where over 90% of our pupils speak English as an additional language.
We require a number of enthusiastic and energetic 1-2-1 teaching assistants to support individuals at either our Victoria Road or Orchard site. Applicants should be:
• Qualified to NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent.
• Have experience of supporting children's learning in a school
• Have experience of SEND, including behaviour management skills
• Have good communication skills and resilience.
These posts are to start as soon as possible in September 2024. The posts are fixed term until the pupil leaves Victoria Community School.
