Community Health Worker with Health Visiting team, Public Health Nursing - Teignbridge

The Community Health Worker plays a vital role in supporting families with children aged 0-8 years, providing assistance in clinics, groups, and homes. They also conduct developmental reviews for children at ages 1 and 2 1/2. Collaborating with Health Visitors and School Nurses, Community Health Workers aid in family assessments, offer parental support on various topics, and provide targeted care when necessary.
You should have a genuine love for working with children, a solid grasp of children's safeguarding, and familiarity with the Healthy Child Programme and broader public health initiatives.
The ideal candidate must exhibit the qualities outlined in the person specification and be dedicated to continuous professional growth to uphold care quality.
