WHAT TO EXPECT
The Engineering Delivery Manager will hold responsibility for the inception and delivery of a programme.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilites
- To act as the day-to-day contact in Programme Management to ensure successful programme delivery
- Drive collaboration between JLR & supplier Engineering teams to provide high quality Pre-production build plans and clarity of part maturity
- Co-ordinate internal stakeholder reviews to confirm JLR teams understand maturity of pre-production build vehicles and take appropriate action to plan for any deviations away from production intent
- Proactively monitor Engineering Delivery health status through the resolution of risks and issues, initiating corrective action where required
- Managing the performance of the Engineering Delivery team to ensure successful programme delivery
- Managing and develop internal and external supplier relationships with the programme
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Extensive experience of project management approaches, tools and techniques
- Previous of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, including risks management
- Credibility within the programme environment and ability to influence others
- Demonstrable experience managing and influencing key stakeholders
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred
