Purpose.
Maintain domestic garden and work yard areas to a high standard and carry out general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities.

  • Work effectively as part of a team;
  • Be able to work safely and maintain health and safety standards within your working area;
  • Maintain allocated equipment, e.g., basic hand tools, personal protective equipment, etc;
  • Undertaking other duties as necessary to supplement or balance the services provided by the company.
3.
Scope.

  • Maintain a domestic garden and work area.
  • Maintain high standards of good housekeeping.
  • Various ground maintenance tasks.
  • Other yard duties, including painting and general maintenance of outbuildings, etc.
4.
Relationships.

  • Team members, Line management.
5.
Qualifications.

  • Experience of gardening and general maintenance.
  • Clean UK Drivers Licence.
6.
Experience.

  • General gardening and maintenance;
  • Using machinery, such as lawn mowers and hedge trimmers;
  • Looking after the appearance of plants and the surrounding landscape;
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
7.
Technical/ Professional Know-how

  • Ability to undertake a range of practical tasks.
  • Knowledge of health and safety.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all UK weather conditions.
  • To work well as part of a small team/independently.
  • To be able to communicate effectively.
  • Selfmotivated.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 35 per week

Salary:
£12.05 per hour
