Full Time hours per week annualised contract - Monday - Friday (8am-6pm) Saturdays (8am-1pm) - Please note shifts will vary depending on work volume

Salary:
£22,500 plus annual bonus, 27 days holiday increasing to 30 days plus bank holidays and a fantastic range of benefits

The role:


As part of our Mortgage team you will be responsible for handling and processing a broad range of individual requests and transactions and that's why we are looking for great people to join our team to help us deliver shared goals within the team and support and improve our customers' experiences.


We are looking for a customer-orientated individual to join our team, with exceptional attention to detail, who can clearly communicate in both written and verbal formats with a high level of accuracy, without the need to field telephone enquiries.


What a typical day will look like:

  • Operate effectively within a regulated department
  • Discuss features of customer's mortgages or insurance all within the documented processes
  • Handle standard and specialist enquiries where appropriate
  • Identify vulnerable customers, showing empathy and considering referral to the vulnerable team
  • Discuss bank policies and procedures and any changes affecting policies and procedures with customers
  • Perform other routine administrative duties as required

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to customer service
  • Ability to establish an excellent rapport with customers
  • High levels of energy, resilience and selfmotivation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good level of numeracy skills
  • Achieving defined objectives on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Multitasking and timemanagement skills
  • Computer literate with the ability to navigate confidently and quickly around multiple systems.
