Delivery Team Lead - Edinburgh (Hybrid)

Up to £69,000 per annum plus benefits


As a Delivery Team Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless delivery of one or more client projects.

As an experienced.

NET leader you will mentor and support junior members of the development team, helping them to build upon their skills and drive their development.

You will lead a small team of developers and work in collaboration with a Project Manager to gather client requirements then design and execute delivery plans.


Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Protecting the development team from external and internal distractions.
  • Facilitate and encourage selforganisation and ownership from the development team.
  • Maintain and add functionality to existing sites, in particular handle requests for new functionality.
  • Removing blockages stopping the team from delivering on time.
  • Work with the client product owner to define achievable sprints and agree priorities.
  • Hands on approach that still gets involved in the day to day delivery issues.
  • Management of scheduled product releases.
  • Ensure tickets are sufficiently detailed to allow implementation by the development team.
  • Work in conjunction with the company product team to ensure client requirements are feed back into roadmap.
  • Some travel may be required during larger projects/campaigns.

Experience and Skillset Required:

  • Previous experience leading a team is essential for this role as is an ability to showcase how you build and develop members of the team and demonstrate your ability to lead from the front.
  • Experienced in Microsoft.
NET technologies and Software, Visual Studio Online and Git and extensive experience with C#, VB.NET, HTML, JS, CSS.

  • Very comfortable working in an Agile environment and using Scrum methodologies.
  • Working with latest web design frameworks and technologies such as , , MVC 5+ etc, as well as having indepth experience of working with JavaScript.
  • Able to review code and provide constructive feedback to the other members of the team so they can grow and learn.
  • Excellent communication skills, remembering that people learn in different ways.
