Job Roles

  • Your main job role is to support and carry out general administration duties for a busy Commercial and Domestic Heating Company. Dealing with the daytoday running's of the business and supporting staff, contractors and managers. Your duties will include, but not limited to;
  • Organising and setting up agendas for engineers and contractors
  • Keeping track of engineers using our software and tracking
  • Answering the phone
  • Taking all general enquiries and passing onto the relevant manager
  • Sourcing and ordering materials
  • Compiling site folders and assisting site managers
  • General Office filing
  • Preparing for audits
  • Dealing with our customers & clients. You will be the main POC for our customers and clients within the Office.
  • Putting together programs under the instruction of senior management
  • Assisting Project and Site Managers

Essential Skills

  • Have at least 5 years experience of using all Microsoft packages including SharePoint
  • Able to use proficiently and efficiently accounting software packages (QuickBooks)
  • Must be confident, proactive, and positive.
  • Organisational skills are essential.
  • Must take accountability and responsibility within their job role.
  • Must be thorough and able to use own initiative
  • Must be assertive, and willing to assist in organising engineers on site.
  • Must be willing to negotiate costs with suppliers.
  • Must be willing to dispute price discrepancies with contactors/suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Would suit an administrator that has experience working within the plumbing/heating or mechanical background, client services or project management.

9am - 5pm (no weekends) (5pm finish is NOT flexible)

Office based - Read, Burnley

Driving Licence and own transport

Holidays 28 per year including Bank Holidays

Each year of service after 2 years will incur an additional days leave up to a maximum of 5 days
