About the Role:

Are you ready to join the team as an Apprentice Content Creator and Team Assistant at the British Red Cross? In this role, you'll be at the heart of our Communications and Advocacy team, sharing the stories that define who we are and the impact we have on people's lives. Your exceptional organizational and writing skills will play a crucial role in delivering inspiring content that connects our staff and volunteers. As a key contact for stakeholders, you'll also support the team in managing essential communication channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify compelling stories within the organization to align our people with our vision.
  • Create engaging content for various communication channels and campaigns.
  • Manage content uploading on Intranet and Newsletter platforms.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data records.
  • Produce monthly performance reports for communication channels.

Requirements for Success:

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards content and internal communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and willingness to learn new software.
  • English GCSE-Level or equivalent.
  • Passion for creative storytelling through multimedia.
