They're going through a period of real expansion globally and have doubled their headcount in the last couple of years, predicted to continue this way in the future They have a lovely company culture with a real family feel and approachable nature across all levels.

The Role - Events Manager Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with the wider content and digital teams, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing the events strategy for both physical and online events. Predominately external events, you'll be behind the scenes in planning and organising all aspects, but without so much of the tiresome travel

You'll brief the company representatives who'll attend the events, create and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, conduct all pre and post-production activities, work with distributors, and manage CRM records.

You'll attend some of the events on occasion, but you won't be required to attend and set up each one.

Requirements - Events Manager
  • A minimum of 5 years of events management experience, able to create and deliver strategies for physical and online events.
  • A B2B background in events, ideally from the software, biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in CRM management, Zoho or HubSpot preferred.
Location This position is hybrid working, ideally a couple of days a week in the office per week, but more remote working can be considered also. Suitable commutable locations include Royston, Baldock, Bassingbourn, Melbourn, Buntingford, Rushden, Letchworth Garden City, Biggleswade, Duxford, Hitchin, Cambridge, Sawston, Sandy, and Saffron Walden.
