Located in Derby, this is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary of up to £35K depending on experience, along with a non-contractual bonus. Office hours run from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break.

As a Senior Property Lawyer, your main responsibilities will revolve around handling a caseload of sale and purchase matters including Leasehold, New Build, and Shared Ownership Properties. You'll work independently and with your team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard within set deadlines and KPIs.

In this role, you'll organize performance reviews, team meetings, training sessions, and more to help develop the team. Regular reporting to senior management and stakeholders on department and individual performance will also be part of your duties.

Requirements:

As a Senior Property Lawyer, a minimum of 2 years in a senior conveyancing fee earner role is required. Experience in handling household, leasehold, new build, and shared occupancy housing transactions is essential. You should also have experience working with small developers, new build contracts, Transfers of Part, and Deeds of Easements. Strong keyboard skills are a must, along with proficiency in Case Management systems, Land Registry portal, and online SLDT. Demonstrating technical expertise in conveyancing transactions is necessary. In-depth knowledge of anti-money laundering, CQS requirements, and SRA compliance is vital for success in this position.
