We are currently recruiting a Front of House Receptionist to join our new independentveterinary hospital.

The hospital aims to provide the highest quality experience for both owner and pet from arrival to discharge.

As the Front of House Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients andtheir pets. Their daily duties will include managing appointments, and administrative support.

The most important aspect of the role is providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that them and their pet have the best possible experience whilst in the clinic.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Greeting, welcoming, and directing clients at the front desk in a courteous manner.
• Ensuring that all client details are correct and updating patient details on the practice management system.
• Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls to appropriate personnel.
• Receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail efficiently.
• Undertaking general administrative tasks, including diary management and processing ofinsurance claims.
• Taking payments.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a clientfacing role is essential, although this does not have to be in the veterinary sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using office equipment and basic administrative tasks.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

£10.50-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
