Join us as a Wind Turbine Technician in Wind Power Service and Operations as part of our expanding teams in Scotland.

Together with your colleagues, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our currently supported Technologies/Platforms, positively contributing to our safety culture, and working with our engineering specialists to enhance wind farm performance.nReporting to the Operational Project Manager, you will be expected to deliver maintenance services to Gamesa G8X series turbine projects in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.

Knowledge of other wind technologies will be a plus.


Roles and ResponsibilitiesnUndertake scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing.nCarry out corrective maintenance; fault finding, troubleshooting and repair on all turbine systems which will include mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assemblies.nProactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime ensuring the highest level of turbine availabilitynProvide out of hours and weekend response to turbine breakdown.nEnsure compliance with all health and safety requirements including the WTSRnAssist in providing solutions to the Technical Manager.


Job RequirementsnService Engineer with Gamesa G8X backgroundnTroubleshooting and Fault Finding experiencenComputer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, email, management and reporting systems, including the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting toolsnWilling to work overtime on weekends, bank holidays and on short notice.nParticipates in an on-call schedule.
