Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic E-commerce Marketing Manager with a strong focus on Shopify and product development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our e-commerce marketing strategies to drive online sales, increase brand awareness, and improve customer engagement.

In the early phases, the role will require the migration of the current website onto the Shopify platform ensuring a smooth transition of the equity of the current site.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce marketing plans to achieve sales targets and objectives, with a particular focus on Shopify as our primary e-commerce platform.
  2. Manage and optimise online marketing channels, including PPC campaigns, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate programs, with a goal of driving traffic and conversions on the Shopify platform.
  3. Collaborate with external development teams to drive product features, benefits, and customer needs, and incorporate these insights into marketing strategies and campaigns.
  4. Manage the Shopify platform, including product listings, pricing, promotions, website design, and user experience optimisation to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
  5. Conduct market research and competitive analysis related to product offerings, pricing strategies, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and inform product development and marketing strategies.
  6. Analyse key metrics and KPIs related to Shopify performance, customer behaviour, and product performance to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven strategies.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer support, and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for marketing and product initiatives.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends, Shopify updates, new product features, and digital marketing innovations to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing initiatives, Shopify development, and product launches.
  10. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to provide insights, progress updates, and recommendations for future strategies related to Shopify and product development.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in e-commerce marketing, with a focus on Shopify platform management and product development.
  2. Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  3. Experience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms, including managing product listings, pricing, promotions, and website optimisation.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions related to Shopify performance and product development.
  5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  6. Experience working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and exceeding targets.
