We are looking for an individual to join our Small team working the Swithcboard/Helpdesk within Macclesfield District General Hospital.

This Position would be for x2 Night Shifts Per week


The switchboard operates on a 24hr system and you would be required to be flexible to work between the hours of 23.

Duties:

  • Operate a switchboard to route incoming calls and connect callers to the appropriate departments or individuals
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service
  • Take accurate messages and relay them to the appropriate recipients
  • Provide information to callers regarding company services, products, and policies

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using office equipment such as switchboards
