Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of schools within the Tameside area, that are searching for a English/Math/Science tutor, to work with pupils on a 1/2/1 or small group basis.


The role will allow for flexible working hours to suit your needs and lifestyle, allowing you to support underachieving pupils through their school work.


Not only does this opportunity allow for the chance to work in a range of fantastic secondary schools on a flexible basis, but also means the successful applicant will be able to earn £25 - £40 per hour, within a time frame that suits you.


The position in hand will consist of:

  • Ensuring for consistent progression with the students targeted levels.
  • Provide a positive and nurturing nature within the classroom setting.
  • Have the ability to build an excellent rapport with the group or pupils in hand.


It's important for the school that the applicant has experience within a similar setting and has the ability to track and maintain a high standard of tutoring.

Working with the school, Teaching Personnel would be able to arrange a suitable time for yourselfto work for 1-3 hours at a time, when its best suited for yourself and the students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
