Our client is excited to announce a new position within the Global Accounting Operations Team As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial accounting for various entities, contributing to the success of our innovative new Operating Model

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post recurring and manual journals, including intercompany entries.
  • Manage accruals and reclassification entries.
  • Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across systems.
  • Process allocations for payroll costs and WBS elements.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Load budget data into consolidation systems.
  • Analyse and report on variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Assist with local statutory reports and IFRS adjustment calculations.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACCA/ACA/CPA/CMA qualified, or qualified by experience (5+ years in a relevant role).
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to think through irregular issues and make timely decisions.
  • Organisational agility and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Effective collaboration with Finance Business Partners and various Finance Centres of Excellence.
