Position Overview: As an Industrial Disease Solicitor at this firm, you will play a pivotal role in advocating for individuals affected by workplace-related illnesses. From asbestos exposure to occupational asthma, you will handle a diverse caseload with compassion, diligence, and expertise. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals, further develop your skills, and contribute to the pursuit of justice for clients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of industrial disease claims from inception to resolution, ensuring the highest standard of legal representation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, witness statements, and other relevant documents.
  • Liaise with clients, experts, and third parties to gather evidence and support case preparation.
  • Attend court hearings, negotiations, and settlement discussions on behalf of clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, legislative changes, and best practices in industrial disease law.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of post-qualification experience in industrial disease law.
  • Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, case law, and procedural rules.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and upholding ethical standards.
