Join Our Team as a Family Support Worker

As a Family Support Worker, you'll be employing a holistic approach to assist families, providing individualized support in their homes and within the community. Your responsibilities will include conducting Early Help Assessments (EHAs) and serving as the Lead Professional for the family. Collaborating with a multi-agency team, you'll deliver targeted interventions tailored to help families achieve positive outcomes.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Committed to continuous professional development through various training opportunities.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • In-depth knowledge of child development, signs of abuse and neglect, and child protection laws.
  • Understanding the importance of school attendance and access to education.
  • Ability to conduct assessments, create support plans, and deliver direct assistance to vulnerable families.
  • Excellent communication skills across various platforms within a multi-agency setting.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate case records, reports, and assessments.
  • Willingness to travel locally and across the region.
